YKSL Trading Bot v.1 · Terms of Use, Risk Disclosure & Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated: October 6, 2026
Please read this policy carefully before using YKSL Trading Bot v.1 (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. What the Software is
The Software is a desktop tool that connects to the MetaTrader 5 ("MT5") terminal installed on your own computer and can automatically place, modify and close orders on the trading account that you connect to it, based on predefined technical rules (for example liquidity sweeps, market structure shifts, order blocks and fair value gaps).
The Software is a technical tool only. It does not hold your money, does not have access to your funds outside your trading account, and cannot withdraw money from your broker account.
2. High risk warning
Trading foreign exchange, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies and CFDs on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for everyone. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. You may lose some or all of the money you deposit with your broker. A large majority of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs.
- Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
- Automated trading does not remove market risk. It can increase losses through repeated or rapid execution.
- Market gaps, low liquidity, high spreads, slippage, news events, weekends and holidays can cause losses larger than the stop-loss distance shown by the Software.
3. No guarantee of results
- No profit is promised or guaranteed. The Software may lose money, including over long periods.
- Backtests, example charts, screenshots, videos and statistics are hypothetical or historical and are shown for illustration only. They have inherent limitations, may not reflect real execution costs, and past performance is not indicative of future results.
- Results on a demo account may differ from results on a live account.
4. Not financial advice
The Software, its documentation and any related videos or content are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in them is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument, or a personal recommendation suited to your situation. The developer is not a licensed investment adviser or portfolio manager and does not manage your account.
You alone decide whether to use the Software, which account and settings to use, and how much to risk. Consider seeking advice from an independent, licensed financial adviser.
5. Your responsibilities
By using the Software you agree that:
- You are at least 18 years old and legally allowed to trade the instruments you use in your country of residence.
- You will test the Software on a demo account first and understand its settings before connecting a live account.
- You are responsible for choosing your broker, account type, leverage, position size and risk settings (for example risk per trade and daily loss limit).
- You will monitor your account regularly. The Software only works while your computer, the MT5 terminal, the internet connection and the "Algo Trading" permission are all active.
- You are responsible for complying with your broker's terms and with the laws and tax rules that apply to you.
The Software includes safety features (for example DRY_RUN mode, a live-account lock, a stop-loss on every trade and a daily loss limit). These reduce, but do not eliminate, risk and may fail in unusual conditions.
6. Technical risks
Automated trading depends on systems outside the developer's control, including your computer, operating system, internet connection, the MT5 terminal, your broker's servers and market data. Failures, delays, outages, incorrect prices, rejected orders, software bugs or configuration mistakes may lead to missed trades, unexpected trades or losses. Open positions remain at your broker with their stop-loss and take-profit orders even if the Software is closed.
7. License
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for your own trading. Unless the developer has agreed otherwise in writing, you may not:
- copy, share, resell, rent or redistribute the Software or your license;
- decompile, reverse engineer or modify the Software, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use the Software to provide trading, signal or account management services to others.
All rights not expressly granted remain with the developer.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted operation or freedom from errors.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, data loss or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Software. Nothing in this policy limits rights that you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
10. Privacy
- Your data stays on your computer. The Software runs locally and does not send your account details, trading data or personal information to the developer.
- MT5 credentials: if you choose to save your account number, server and password in the Software, they are stored locally in the Software's folder. The password is encrypted with Windows Data Protection (DPAPI), which means only your Windows user account can decrypt it. You can instead use the "account logged in to MT5" option, in which case no password is stored by the Software.
- Logs: the Software writes activity logs (signals, orders, errors) to the
logsfolder on your computer. You can delete them at any time. - Third parties: your broker and MetaQuotes (the provider of MT5) process your data under their own privacy policies. The developer has no access to that data.
- Support: if you contact support and choose to share logs or screenshots, they will be used only to help you and will not be shared with third parties.
11. Trademarks and affiliation
MetaTrader and MetaTrader 5 are trademarks of MetaQuotes Ltd. Broker names (for example IC Markets) and instrument names are the property of their respective owners. The Software and its developer are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MetaQuotes or any broker.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated in new versions of the Software. The version and date are shown at the top. If the policy changes materially, you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use the Software.
